add "do not translate" button/option
I think it would be useful if can mark a string to not be translated for the contributors. e.g. Proper Nouns or Corporate Names, etc.
We’ve added support for the translatable=“false” flag for Android xml-based projects. It’s described here how to set it: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-set-strings-as-non-translatable-in-android-localization-projects

totally agree - our project contains z_DONT_TRANSLATE_someLabel keys - I would like to add option to ignore those on import - I dont need it in POEditor, but I do need it in JSON. I'm pretty surprized this thread has no relevant response from admins

Since you're a contributor and don't have access to the Default Reference Language, you can ask an admin or the project owner for the English source file. Then, just import the translations from this file to the English you're assigned to, leaving the box to 'Overwrite existing translations' unchecked. This way, you won't need to copy paste the strings which are the same in the Reference Language.

Personally I would like to translate a few strings, and then have a button to "copy all other strings as-is".
This is especially useful for non-US english locale such as en-AU/GB.
I change all the strings from "categorize" to "categorise", "mom" to mum", "borne" to "bourne" etc, but then just want the rest as-is and currently have to literally copy paste hundreds of strings. -

This is related to Android's "translatable=false" issue https://poeditor.uservoice.com/forums/171919-general/suggestions/6966908-ignore-or-mark-when-importig-terms-with-translatab
Not having this forces us to remove the lint checks for missing translations. POEditor is supposed to help us improve the quality of the product, not diminish it.

For me it's better "no need to translate" option - some languages may translate it, while others may not. If it's not translated, it does not count to the untranslated statistics.
Similar functionality offers ResXManager - it allow to mark a term as @Invariant.

Upvote. No i have to paste into every language "- Do not translate -". This is generally a problem as the Xcode Storyboard export unused strings and placeholders to the XLIFF and they are counted in POEditor. We are currently writing a script to automatically remove these strings before input. But it would be nice to just deactivate them in the main language.
