Detect duplicate terms and or translations
It would be helpfull if there would be an option to detect duplicate terms and/or translations over multiple projects. In my situation I have a "common" library project which contains terms used within many other projects. Having the ability to detect duplicate terms would help to find terms that should be moved to the "common" project.

We do not have duplicate terms within the same project. The only case where you have a term more than once is the case when you have a different context set.
If you want to do this trick and find what terms are stored in more language files, just tag all your terms on each import to the same project in POEditor and look after which term has the most tags (a term will be tagged upon import even if it already exists in the project).
