2nd reference language
It would be great to be able to set 2nd reference language to be visible when doing translations. E.g. When the translator is translating Spanish, it's useful to see both English and French text, as English is often inconclusive, because you don't have conjugation and many other grammar structures there which other languages do.
I think it's quite useful to be able to see two languages to cross check terms etc, which en ables the translator to avoid mistakes or misunderstanding of the original term.

Show Translation in Reference Language on View Terms page
In our application the terms are keys generated by the application which generally useless for translating purposes. (e.g. S-5-0-2000)
It would be usefull to be able to see the main translation directly without having to click on the Translations button on each term.

Feature: Maintain terms order the same as uploaded file
When add new terms from xml file and reupload it to terms, the new terms is added on the last. It will be great if the terms have the same order as the original file. The use case is for maintain the grouping of the text which have same context.

Github export not including .mo file
Hi,
I've linked a .po file with GitHub with a checkmark set in "Also get a .mo file with the same filename on export.".
However, when I export the .po file, no .mo file is included in the resulting commit. Seems like a bug?
Best regards,

Numbering
it is pretty hard to deal with the search of a term/translation. If the term which was searched for is found, it would be great to write a page number at which it is placed.

poeditor2ini
Hello,
in one of my project I use ini-files on develop and mo-files on production, so I created this script to import ini to poeditor:
https://github.com/abagayev/ini2poeditorplease add it to third-party libraries, somebody will use it for this reasons and will become a little happier :-)

GET request to retrieve translation
We would like to cache translation content, hence we want to retrieve the content via GET HTTP request (which is reasonable considering we want to retrieve data...).
Is there a way (API) to easily retrieve data via GET requests ?1 vote -
Website's navigation breadcrumbs to work as dropdown menus
On the web, top left of the page contains navigation breadcrumbs. It would be nice if the breadcrumbs were dropdown menus, for example navigating from one language to another inside a project would be easier.

Adding a single term and translations at the same time
Hey,
It would be wonderful if I'd be able to add a term and its translations at the same time.
Possible workflow could be following
- Click "Add term" button on View Terms page
- Fill in Term and Context input fields
- Click "Add translation" button
- Choose translation's language from dropdown field
- Type in translation to input field next to language dropdown
- Click "Add translation" ..
- Click Save button
Now the new term and its translations are saved to the system.

Automatic notification when a change is made on one term
Hello,
We would like to notify every translators (and even empty the specified strings in their languages) when a change is made in one language, so we can remain consistant in every translation.

Language names translated
Hello,
While using the dropdown to add new languages, it would be really useful to find a language using the local name of that language. For example, if I type "French" or "Français" it will show up "French" in the dropdown.
This is particularly useful when you get translations labeled as "Slovenčina" but people don't usually know that it is "Slovak".
Hope this will be considered.
Many thanks,

See the last modifications made by the project's owner.
Hi,
I'am a contributor on a project and I would like to know how to see the last modifications made by the project's owner. Not the recently added and untranslated texts, but texts that I have already translated and that the owner has modified without telling me. If it's impossible can you add that feature? Thanks.3 votes -

Manage many plurals for one term
It would be very useful to be able to manage many plural for a single term (manage quantity like 0,1,2, others...).

Validate translations when variables are used
For example, this string:
Hello, %(name)s!
should be translated in dutch as Hallo, %(name)s!
But it should give an error when not all original variables are present or have the wrong name, etc. This is a very common error and difficult to find in production afterwards. This will be a huge help for translators!
Thanks in advance!

You can make it even better by adding shortcuts (next string, previous string)
Cheers
