  1. Hello! I need to mark a term as not translatable for other languages. It must remain the same in all languages, therefore, I want to put it only in the reference language. Can this be done? Please let me know.

  4. Our contributors are complaining that their edits are not being saved. We've had multiple instances where edits were not updated, and other instances where saved translations were completely removed.

  6. It would be useful to have an option to avoid having the the comments imported in the strings file.
The translators uses those comments to ask some questions. Those questions should not be in the the file.

  7. It will be a great idea if I can select more than a file when I am going to import my files with the strings.

I've multiple strings_xxx.xml files and now I have to link them one by one when I want to link them from github to POeditor.

    Thanks

    Great tool!

  8. We need to be able to select all the strings that were recently updated.

The updated ASC and DESC filters are still putting all the strings and not only the ones who changed.

    Please advise.

Thank you for your time and help.

  9. Hello,

I am have a lot of files in my OSS project. I have seperate *.mo files per files. It is terrible to import all of them to poeditor. I prefer use "glob" path mathing to select this files.

    Greetings,

  10. It would be great to be able to set 2nd reference language to be visible when doing translations. E.g. When the translator is translating Spanish, it's useful to see both English and French text, as English is often inconclusive, because you don't have conjugation and many other grammar structures there which other languages do.

I think it's quite useful to be able to see two languages to cross check terms etc, which en ables the translator to avoid mistakes or misunderstanding of the original term.

  11. In our application the terms are keys generated by the application which generally useless for translating purposes. (e.g. S-5-0-2000)

It would be usefull to be able to see the main translation directly without having to click on the Translations button on each term.

  12. When add new terms from xml file and reupload it to terms, the new terms is added on the last. It will be great if the terms have the same order as the original file. The use case is for maintain the grouping of the text which have same context.

  14. Hi,

I've linked a .po file with GitHub with a checkmark set in "Also get a .mo file with the same filename on export.".

However, when I export the .po file, no .mo file is included in the resulting commit. Seems like a bug?

    Best regards,
    Martin

  15. it is pretty hard to deal with the search of a term/translation. If the term which was searched for is found, it would be great to write a page number at which it is placed.

  16. Hello,

in one of my project I use ini-files on develop and mo-files on production, so I created this script to import ini to poeditor:
    https://github.com/abagayev/ini2poeditor

please add it to third-party libraries, somebody will use it for this reasons and will become a little happier :-)
    https://poeditor.com/help/user_contributions

    Thank you.

  17. We would like to cache translation content, hence we want to retrieve the content via GET HTTP request (which is reasonable considering we want to retrieve data...).
Is there a way (API) to easily retrieve data via GET requests ?

  18. On the web, top left of the page contains navigation breadcrumbs. It would be nice if the breadcrumbs were dropdown menus, for example navigating from one language to another inside a project would be easier.

  19. Hey,

It would be wonderful if I'd be able to add a term and its translations at the same time.

    Possible workflow could be following

    1. Click "Add term" button on View Terms page
    2. Fill in Term and Context input fields
    3. Click "Add translation" button
    4. Choose translation's language from dropdown field
    5. Type in translation to input field next to language dropdown
    6. Click "Add translation" ..
    7. Click Save button

Now the new term and its translations are saved to the system.

  20. Hello,

We would like to notify every translators (and even empty the specified strings in their languages) when a change is made in one language, so we can remain consistant in every translation.
