  2. Can't connect to gitlab anymore

    I can't connect poeditor to gitlab anymore. I will give it the URL of my instance and a valid token, but it will say "Unable to connect"

  3. Contributors limit for the open source projects

    The current limit of 5 contributors per open-source project is too restrictive, especially when attempting to build a global application aimed at users across different regions and cultures. This limit may hinder the growth and scalability of projects that require diverse contributions from developers with various backgrounds and mother tongues.

    Consider increasing the contributor limit or removing the cap entirely for open-source projects. This would allow for a broader and more inclusive community of developers, and would help attract contributors from different regions, languages, and technical backgrounds. This would ensure that the project can grow sustainably and meet the needs…

  5. Leaving project ID in .po files for Wagtail

    Wagtail creates .po files that include a special ID (thanks to this they are able to identify the file and assign it to correct subpage and language), but POEditor sets its own ID, for example:

    "X-WagtailLocalize-TranslationID: [a combination of letters and numbers]"

    while POEditor will set it like that:

    "Project-Id-Version: [name of the project in POEditor]"

    which makes it impossible to import it to the CMS (Wagtail needs it original ID).

    Is there any option to keep the ID from the Wagtail CMS? It should not be overwritten by POEditor.

  6. Error in Github

    After going on public access, Github gives me this error poeditor.client.POEditorException: Status 'fail', code 403: You don't have permission to access this resource, when I did a further investigation on the error it made mention of wrong id, but everything is also correct both the id and API code.

  7. New string format for Apple (iOS 17)

    Hi, are you planning add a new format for Apple after they come up with new iOS 17 (September 2023)?

    So we can use new "String Catalogue" for our future translations, where are 3 columns (key + original language + final language)?
    Or any other solution/idea for this new format of coding so contributors can see more than just key?

  8. Bug when ordering more than one transaltion

    Hye guys. I found this new bug for when you go to add a 2nd transaltion to you order. The input box does not apear in the last option. It is just a UI issue and does not block you from adding extra translations. but I thought you might like to know about it. :)

  9. Incorrect fuzzy count in filter

    Hi,
    We are having an annoying problem. In the terms list page, the fuzzy count is zero when we open the filter dropdown. However, it will show 2 fuzzy items if we really select the "fuzzy" as an condition. This problem annoys us because some of the translators think that there is not any fuzzy term by viewing the incorrect number and did not do necessary actions.

  12. Import trad not working

    From a week now, i cannot import new terms by CSV.
    The language select doesn't appears and even when, new terms are not uploaded and some keys are considered as obsolete even if still on the file uploaded.

  13. Add .yaml extension support to YAML

    YAML today is using by default extension of .yaml. It's also default extension for lot of frameworks (PHP Symfony fe.).

    3char .yml was used on old filesystems which only support 3 characters file extensions.

  16. The names of the projects - hard to read

    The names of the projects are truncated - and of too large font. So that only the prefix is readable - and I'm forced to highlight the projects row - by row - to see the full title of the project.

  17. PR title

    When setting up a PR preset there is no option to set the title or even commit messages.
    We have a validation for PR title and commits messages in our bitbucket repo and it would be nice to be able to customize these in poeditor

  18. Skip empty commits on export

    Translation export to Git produces empty commit (with empty change set) when no translations were changed.

    I would like the empty commits to be skipped or to have an option to configure it, especially for webhooks.

    In my case I run export webhook from my CI/CD, via Azure DevOps integration. I ended up with bunch of empty commits added each time the webhook is triggered.

  19. Figma Plugin Layer name

    For us the Figma plugin only makes sense if we have the option to sync based on layer name instead of layer ID. It would be great to have this simple possibility in the Settings of the Figma Plugin.

  20. exact

    I would like to see a possibility to do an exact word/phrase search. In our system a search for the term "Patient" gives 62 pages of results, many of which are long phrases or sentences containing the word "Patient".
    Since I often know exactly what phrase/word I want to translate, an exact search would narrow my scope immensely.
