Export all languages at once
With a project that has a lot of languages and projects, it's very tedious to export the resource files (which then have to each be renamed).
It would be nice if you could export all languages in a ZIP file from the "Project Options" dropdown on the project's main page.

add "do not translate" button/option
I think it would be useful if can mark a string to not be translated for the contributors. e.g. Proper Nouns or Corporate Names, etc.
120 votesWe’ve added support for the translatable=“false” flag for Android xml-based projects. It’s described here how to set it: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-set-strings-as-non-translatable-in-android-localization-projects

ARB file import/export
Add support for importing and exporting terms and translations using the .arb file format (https://github.com/googlei18n/app-resource-bundle/wiki/ApplicationResourceBundleSpecification).
ARB is currently the recommended method of managing translations in Flutter and the Dart Intl package.
83 votesYou can now localize Flutter apps using ARB files with POEditor:

Readonly access through the API (creating readonly tokens)
We use the API and this includes automated tests running on the build server.
The problem is that the tests must have a token and this token gives access to it all - including destroying the language projects.
Therefore, in order to be compliant, we need to be able to create tokens which only gives readonly access to the projects.
Thank you.
72 votesReadonly tokens can now be generated in Account > API Access.

VSTS integration
It would be great if POEditor would be integrated with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS). We have our code on VSTS git repository.

Edit GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab commit message
It would be a nice feature if it was possible to write our own messages when exporting files to Github, Bitbucket or GitLab.
At the moment each export is labeled as „Update xxx (POEditor.com)“.62 votesSetting a custom commit message is possible as described in this article: https://poeditor.com/kb/git-integration-settings

Backup
It would be very useful for backup purposes but not only, if from the project it could be possible to download all the PO and MO files in one single zip file

Option to request a new language on public projects
Would be nice to have an option to request new languages on the "Join project" page. This way I don't have to included languages which don't have any translated strings and users don't have to mail me to add this language

Advanced search
Currently there is only one (general) input which seems to search on all fields at once, hence, when a name of a term has a similar name of a context the results includes all the terms related to the context.
Can be easily solved by adding an advanced search in order to find terms by a specific field:
- term name
- translations
- context
- reference
- plural
- commentsThanks!

When exporting multiple languages through GitHub/GitLab, add option to create just one commit instead of one commit per language.

Screenshot Attachments
Dear POEditor Team,
we are very happy with the current POEditor solution. But there is one Feature we are missing: Screenshot Attachments. It would be much easier to handle all our IDs if we could add a screenshot in addition to a comment. With screenshots the context would be much easier to understand.

YAML support.
Add an ability to import/export YAML files. Not sure this is already asked, if so, sorry!

Ignore or mark when importig terms with Translatable=false flag in xml
I would like the ability to distinguish translatable terms from non-translatable one's by translatable=false flag in xml.
Arguably they shouldn't be added to the terms list at all.
The ability to mark an existing term as non-translatable would be an added bonus.25 votesWe’ve added support for the translatable=“false” flag. It’s described here how to set it: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-set-strings-as-non-translatable-in-android-localization-projects

Filename Export
It would be useful to be able to
1- export together the PO and MO file without the need of doing it separate
2- to be able to select the name of the exported file25 votesPOEditor exports both PO and MO files in Wordpress plugin or in the GitHub integration.
Now you are also able to set a filename when you export your files (check Advanced Options). -
Provide more translation context
Need to see which page the translation refers to on the web site. Ideally the possibility to attach a file (or embed a url link) would be great as currently, translators are blind with regards to contextual information. The context box is being used by our IT team and is not useful for the translators. It would also help to have another window where we can add more description of the context.
25 votesThe first comments are always exported/imported.
Links to images now come with previews in the comment fields, if developers provide visual information regarding the context. -

Add Comments to individual strings
In software like Poedit I often use comments to explain certain text or phrases to the people translating the document. It would be nice to be able to do this on poeditor.com as well.

Review of translations
Some translation sites has a feature where translations has to be reviewed after they get translated, by someone else than the one adding the translations.
For example, Language L has two translators, named A and B. A translates the word W to X. The translation X will not be added to the export files until B (or any person but A) has reviewed the word and put his/her approval stamp on it.
I think they could be tagged with a flag just as automated translations, and then a project manager can chose if he wants reviews or not per project…

GLOSSARIES
Ability to define a glossary of terms that can be applied across multiple projects. Glossary items should have part of speech and a description that tells the translator how this term should be used. Would be helpful if translator could look up terms in the glossary while translating terms in the main interface. While using poeditor to translate new terms, suggestions would be provided based on Glossary items. Google Translator Toolkit has a custom CSV format that could be used for importing and exporting glossaries http://support.google.com/translate/toolkit/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=147854 Pootle has a mechanism to generate a list of frequently appearing terms as a…
