  1. When working with xliff files or Xcode translations in general the key often is something like <id>.title (e.g. GXG-w8-Ae2.title). In order to translate the source column is required to be displayed with every token.

  7. It would be awesome if there was a mapping for formatting symbols.(e.g C#'s string.format("{0}, {1}",foo,bar) being properly mapped to Java's String.format("%1$s, %2$s",foo,bar).

Certainly, it is nearly impossible to map formatting correctly across all platforms (regarding indents, padding, truncation) but at least having a basic mapping for simple string replacements would be really helpful.

  8. Hello,

it would be great if you added support for .neon and .js resource files, which are used by Nette and Mootools frameworks.

  10. I just uploaded a project that is 100% translated (original texts in English, which was set as the default reference language), plus full translation in other language. Yet it says it is only 50% complete (IMHO should be 100%, as the source is not a translation). Something is wrong here, at least from the point of view of the first impresssion of a novice user?

  11. I think starting with Aragonese is an excess of "correctness" that reduced usability, especially when exploring things for the first time. You could keep the drop-down, but add a list of "Recent" language buttons, pre-populated with English, the user's local language, etc.? That would make working so much faster.

  12. I just started using this from the browser, but I found that:
    - Display 20|50|100 is not enough, you need 20|50|100|All to see everything (e.g. when using the browser to search)
    - Select All should be also on top, not just at the end of the page
    - After you select one or more texts, it's not clear how to delete them (the entire entries/rows), could it be that a command is missing?

  13. I am trying Import File... It doesn't list .rc as a supported format? It also says "Import terms and translations in...", hinting that it can only import one language?

Maybe this is all by design, but .rc files are pretty popular, and multi-language projects too. If this is not supported, please add it to the wish list. :)

  14. Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

I would like to know whether it is possible to make paragraphs visible such as in Word for example, with visible paragraphs working would be a lot easier, you could see exactely where the pragraphs starts and ends, and you would not mix up the lines all the time.

Thank you for considering my thoughts. Have a nice day

  15. It would be nice to have a "ready" state for each language. In many cases, some strings are not translated in other languages making it that the translation never reaches 100%.
In addition, Translation/Content departments will tell developers that the language is ready, and only then the developers can use it. It would be cool if this is included in the API as well since developers might more likely go through the API

  19. Could we have the order of the tags 'updated descending' with the latest one added at the top? We are now tagging all our new translation requests for ease of management with the translators who use the tags to display what they need to translate. The list is currently sorted by 'updated ascending',which in case of very long list of tags, doesn't make it easy to find.

  20. I noticed that POEditor does not keep original format of message ids (removes empty sequences ("")). For example after importing .pot file with the following content:

    msgid ""
    "second line"
    "third line"
    msgstr ""

and exporting it to .pot the result is this:

    msgid "second line"
    "third line"
    msgstr ""

It's unfortunate as it makes comparing files harder.
