  1. Dear POEditor Team,

we are very happy with the current POEditor solution. But there is one Feature we are missing: Screenshot Attachments. It would be much easier to handle all our IDs if we could add a screenshot in addition to a comment. With screenshots the context would be much easier to understand.

  2. Ability to define a glossary of terms that can be applied across multiple projects. Glossary items should have part of speech and a description that tells the translator how this term should be used. Would be helpful if translator could look up terms in the glossary while translating terms in the main interface. While using poeditor to translate new terms, suggestions would be provided based on Glossary items. Google Translator Toolkit has a custom CSV format that could be used for importing and exporting glossaries http://support.google.com/translate/toolkit/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=147854 Pootle has a mechanism to generate a list of frequently appearing terms as a…

  5. Create badges we can post on wikis, build pages, markdowns, github, etc. They would show basic stats for the project (translation %s, etc) and link back to POEditor.

  6. Right now, when on a project's page, each language's row has three buttons (add, edit, delete). Please add an export button so that we can quickly export a language from that page w/o having to to into the language just to hit the button in there.

  7. It would be much easier to script the translation export if the export api directly responded with the translation requested rather than a url. I'd love to be able to make a single api call with curl to specify the file and language, and not have to mess with parsing the response.

  10. The QA checks for number of periods matching the source text are invalid in Punjabi because it doesn't use full stops.

I would like to configure which QA checks are valid for my project, and ideally per-language - with some sensible defaults per-language.

  11. The quotes " in the text are exported to the RESX as ". The VisualStudio 2017 reads the resx file fine, but it replaces all " to ". It would be better to export the text as the VisualStudio does.
    Consider the following scenario:
    - Export resx from poeditor to Git repository.
    - Do a small change in the resx by VisualStudio and save the file.
    - resx has many changes compared to the version in Git caused by " converted to ".

  13. I would like to have texts translated by a professional service. I find the selection of texts for translation very inflexible. You can only select "all texts" or "not translated". I have many texts translated automatically. Now I would like to have them translated professionally. For this I need either the option "automatically translated texts" or "not proofreaded texts" in the selection of texts to be translated. Is there a possibility that you extend the function?

  15. When ordering a translation you have to select each language in turn and set the from/to settings and then add these to the order. 99% of the time I just want to get all the missing translations from the non-main language and order them. It takes an extra 5 minutes each time I want to make an order. We have switched from Transifex which does allow you to order multiple languages at once.

We understand where you’re coming from and this is exactly why we allow ordering translations for multiple projects and languages via the same order.

Howerver, whenever money is involved, we’re extra cautious and ask the paying user to give us a few confirmations that the action which they’re about to do is really what they want to do.

This is especially necessary with Gengo, because we act as a middleman between you and them: you submit the order to Gengo via POEditor (and make the payment on the spot), Gengo automatically assigns a translator from their own queue and after the translations are done, they send them back to us.

  16. It would be user-friendly if the AT would allow only specific terms to go through it. Currently it is either all untranslated terms or nothing. Having the ability to select which terms to pass through would make it a lot easier.

We have a validation for PR title and commits messages in our bitbucket repo and it would be nice to be able to customize these in poeditor
