  2. Currently there is only one (general) input which seems to search on all fields at once, hence, when a name of a term has a similar name of a context the results includes all the terms related to the context.

    Can be easily solved by adding an advanced search in order to find terms by a specific field:
    - term name
    - translations
    - context
    - reference
    - plural
    - comments

    Thanks!

  4. Hi,

    I'm a bit confused on how importing translations work.

    I would expect that integration with github works in both ways. If I add something into POEditor, I can export newly added translations to a file on github.com (this works as expected).

    If I add something directly into the file on github.com, then I can import newly added terms (and possibly translations) back to POEditor. This doesn't work this way as far as I can see. I add a couple of terms in to the file (Android XML, precisely) on gitbub, go to integration section on POEditor, select an appropriate…

  5. When a new term is added, only once you've added all translations, you can change them in the "View Terms" screen which allows you to simply change all languages at once for a single term.
    When a new key is added, please allow to add translations in all languages, start them with just empty translations.

  6. Hi, export to RESX is ok, just there is an extra empty line at the end of the RESX file between </data> and </root> tags:

    </data>

    </root>

  7. The escape character \ is added to text containing exclamation mark ! and the # sign when exporting to .properties files. I believe that is wrong.

  8. according to the xliff specification, xliff <source> and <target> tags may contain placeholder tags such as <x id="foo"/> that acts as a placeholder.

    Support for these placeholders in both import and export would help a lot, expecially in translating angular 2+ apps

  9. I am trying to import xliff files into poeditor but the import failed because the file extension (.xlf) was not recognized. As it is the default file extension for translations exported from angular 2+ applications, it would be interesting to add support for this extension

    It appears that you revoked the access of the POEditor app to your GitHub account, and that’s what the error was about.
    Thanks for letting us know about this, we’ve fixed the message in the interface.

  12. Leave search bar open and make it longer.
    I search for terms all the time, why do I have to click the search Icon?

    Go to www.google.com and see how they do it :)

  13. When selecting terms, the selected counter stays 0

    There does not seem to be a way to undo a search (I have entered a search term but now I want to see all terms without the filter being active)

  14. While translating the android strings.xml file and choosing automatic translation, the system translates the Keys, NOT the values. Why on earth would anyone want to translate the XML leys?

  15. Hello,

    https://www.deepl.com/translator has much better results than Google Translate.

    Would you consider to support it in the future?

    Best,

  18. Adding the translations to a specific term in all created languages. Currently the "T" button on a term exists only if we translated a the term in a specific language, but sometimes we want to add a term and quickly put all translations. This currently require to open each language section, look for the term and translate it which is less comfortable.

    In the Contributors page, you can now add contributors/admins to all localization projects in bulk, using the Add Contributors button at the bottom of the page.

    Moreover, we added the option to remove a user from all projects in one go. To remove a contributor from all the localization projects where you’re owner or admin, click on ‘User info’ next to their name in the Contributors page and then click the Remove from all projects button.

  20. Our project is set to default to english for empty strings but when I export our plurals that do not have translations, the english strings do not get exported for languages that have not provided translations.
