How to add items located a db table ?
Hi guys,
how have I to add items in the poEdit and then in the PO Editor getting them from a db table ?
My project get some items from the database table, for instance "statuses" table. These items are loaded from the php application and they are sent in the web view in this way:
<?php
echo $this->translate($status['name']);
?>
PoEdit doesn't connect itself to a db, so how have I to do?
thanks

Pricing Issues
I think you should have a lower pricing model for the longer term. Our company would perhaps use this software in the long term, but we're only going to be in active development/translation for the next few weeks. We'll revisit now and then as we add more languages, but the monthly pricing gets a little steep for us to retain the service on an ongoing basis, considering we won't use it for in months.

Comments - Comments on code should be shown by default as per context
Follow up on
http://poeditor.uservoice.com/forums/171919-general/suggestions/3442561-comments-visibilityThe comments to the terms are usually inserted in the code (you know better what to comment during coding).
Those comments are for example marked in PHP with ///m and they get captured in the pot file.
Those comments should be visible to translators by default.
It seems that now is not. This is different from comments added in POEditor
Thanks

Bulk file renaming
It would be great to have the files exported as enEN or en-EN (option) with another option to be able to prefix it or not with the project name. For Wordpress projects it needs to come down as enEN so at the moment we have to rename every file :(

Tabs
How does one enter tab (\t) characters into the translated text?
Would it be possible to show tabs in the original text, so translators would know that they are there?

Administration: parent-child projects/subprojects
When dealing with larger projects it's useful to have the ability to create a main project and have multiple subprojects underneath that main project as in a parent-child relation. If possible even multiple levels deep.

feature: support string-array resources (android only?)
when uploading android-style string resources, string arrays are ignored.
not sure if there is an equivalent in the other supported file formats, but it sure would be useful if this was supported...36 votes -
We'd like to hire you to customize poeditor!
Hi there, we're aware that you guys are adding support for multiple versions of the same language (you contacted us after we requested the feature a few months back).
We'd really like to find out about costs for adding a "locale" and a language, much like Facebook's locale/language combination. This would be hugely beneficial for Facebook app developers, as well. Can you please get back to us as soon as possible?

Copy Term to Definition on Double-Click
When a definition is empty and only if empty, it would be nice if we can simply double-click on the definition field input to copy the term.
We do not want to use the global 'Copy Terms to Definitions' option. On one of my project, I have about 6000 terms and only ~300-400 need a simple "copy" for a specific language.

Ability to assign contributors to projects
I'm using POEditor with multiple projects in order to handle multiple resource files in a single application. This works great, but one hiccup I've encountered is that contributors sometimes forget to join all projects. I then either send them a reminder email or they ask me "where are the rest of the strings?"
Not a big deal, but a simple solution that might streamline this would be to allow administrators to assign contributors--possibly limiting it to only those already joined in one or more projects--to other projects within your account.

Enhancement for list_languages API function
It would be great if you can add number of translated terms and total in addition to the percentage in the list_languages API function.

REST API Option to keep as Obsolete unused terms
This is a follow up on
https://poeditor.uservoice.com/forums/171919-general/suggestions/3293661-obsolete-termsProblem is that when you upload manually the terms you can see and check the ones you are not using anymore and can decide to remove terms which are clearly to be deleted and keep others (anyway it would be also helpful to see in which languages it's already available the definition for terms to be deleted).
With API you can't do that: or you loose the unused terms (and definitions!!) with SYNC or you keep all the old sentences.
It would be helpful if there was an option in the REST API…

Open projects list available on Poeditor home page
It would be nice if "open projects" would be listed on the homepage of Poedit with a short comment about the idea:
one could see if there is something (s)he might help translating.Maybe also list of not present but wanted languages would be interesting

i18n in POEditor.com
This site makes it a lot more easier to edit po files =)
But it can be a bit confusing for some translators because not everyone knows English. For example, my app uses Spanish and Portuguese.11 votes -

GLOSSARIES
Ability to define a glossary of terms that can be applied across multiple projects. Glossary items should have part of speech and a description that tells the translator how this term should be used. Would be helpful if translator could look up terms in the glossary while translating terms in the main interface. While using poeditor to translate new terms, suggestions would be provided based on Glossary items. Google Translator Toolkit has a custom CSV format that could be used for importing and exporting glossaries http://support.google.com/translate/toolkit/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=147854 Pootle has a mechanism to generate a list of frequently appearing terms as a…
