Add Project button moved to top
I'd like to suggest that the Add Project button be moved to the top. I have to scroll to the bottom of my project list to add. It would be more convenient if it appeared at the top of the list.

send email to contributors on addition of new terms
There should be a functionality that once the term is added, it should be notified to all the project contributors . this is a much needed thing.
1 voteWhen you add new terms to a project (or for any other reasons) you can send notifications to all the users assigned to the project using the Notify button in the project page, as described in the section ‘Notifying everyone assigned to the localization project’ of this article: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-send-notifications-to-translators
Users can filter by Show > Untranslated in the translation pages to see which terms lack translations in the language at hand: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-filter-strings-localization-project

The problem with using with Unreal Engine
Hi.
This tool is so perfect, but one problem keeps me from using it.
Some of the text in my .po file contains "\r\n", which will divide them into several lines through this tool and will not be available for the Unreal Engine project.
I hope there will be a solution related to this.
Thanks.
1 votePOEditor’s behavior is to convert \r\n to \n on export so that it works with all our supported formats.
Could you perhaps use only \n in your code for newlines?
Usually that can be done by changing your IDE settings to encode new lines as \n instead of \r\n.

I want to know more
Hello, I'm considering using POEditor with my apps could you please scheduled a demo to better explain more about it and the offered packages?
1 voteThank you for your message.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer live demos at this time.
However, if you have any questions regarding POEditor, we would be happy to answer them over email at info@poeditor.com -
Order all translations in one step
When ordering a translation you have to select each language in turn and set the from/to settings and then add these to the order. 99% of the time I just want to get all the missing translations from the non-main language and order them. It takes an extra 5 minutes each time I want to make an order. We have switched from Transifex which does allow you to order multiple languages at once.
3 votesWe understand where you’re coming from and this is exactly why we allow ordering translations for multiple projects and languages via the same order.
Howerver, whenever money is involved, we’re extra cautious and ask the paying user to give us a few confirmations that the action which they’re about to do is really what they want to do.
This is especially necessary with Gengo, because we act as a middleman between you and them: you submit the order to Gengo via POEditor (and make the payment on the spot), Gengo automatically assigns a translator from their own queue and after the translations are done, they send them back to us.

Switch to another language while staying on a given term
When in a language, edition a term, it would be quite useful to jump directly to another language while staying on the same term
1 voteIf you wish to edit the translations for a term in multiple languages, you can do that in the Terms page: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-edit-a-string-in-all-languages

Google Play Integration
It would be awesome to have support for publishing strings to Google Play dev console. https://developers.google.com/android-publisher/edits. However, I think the publishing should only happen after the administrator of the project approves it, because Google Play has very strict policies.
3 votesThank you for your suggestion.
Although we don’t have a Google Play Integration at this time, both POEditor and Google Play have APIs available:
https://poeditor.com/docs/api
https://developers.google.com/android-publisherSo if you need to automate this process, you could build a script for it. This would be a one-time job that would allow you to build a customized workflow to fit your requirements.

Bug: Github integration file link uses incorrect URL
I added a new Github integration file link (twice), and the link created was modified, so it's not correct. In addition to not matching the URLs of all the previously created file links, when I run a webhook based on the new file link, the webhook doesn't work.
Here's a screen capture showing the difference between older (and working) links and the new link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10kNQ-bqMBh5K5hj0rHdKcTnOEn7loMB_/view?usp=sharing
Suggestion: Fix the bug, and ideally allow manual editing of the URL
1 voteCould you please clarify if we understood correctly: did you link a file to a language on POEditor, then change the path of the file in the repo, and after this ended up with a link that was no longer valid?
If you want, you can email us at info@poeditor.com to offer more details.

Formal & Informal translations option
Hi, I see some of the translators do a formal translations and some use an informal style. Would be great if instead of us having to specify in comments if we want a formal or informal translation for each translations, that POEditor would introduce a checkbox to specify the translation style for each term.
6 votesThank you for your suggestion.
If you would like to set a particular tone for a translation order sent to Gengo, please use the ‘Comment for translator’ form on the order, as described at point 2 in this article: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-get-human-translation-services
In case some strings in order should be treated as exceptions to these general instructions, note that you can also pass to translators what is written in the first comment of each of your strings, as well as in the Context attribute of each string.

Notify users that the word is autosaved
Like transifex it should notify users that the word is saved.
Also there should be revision system (just like transifex)

Search forstrings in Terms
I am consistently looking for a string in the term view so I can see all of the languages in one place.
I'd love to be able to search by the actual UI text and not the developer terms to find terms.

API to get all translations from multiple projects via single API
As we have 1 API to get all the terms for one language and one project.
There should be some API available to get all the terms for multiple projects or multiple languages in one call. It might decrease the load on your servers alot.
