Webhooks to my custom solution
I should be able to send a webhook to my custom solution. Not everyone has a public Github or Bitbucket project, so we need to be able to send a webhook to our API and handle that. You guys are the first I've ever seen, that does not allow webhooks to other solutions than the ones you made integration for.
What a shame. Now we have to pick someone else.

Context is missing in the terms view
In the terms view, the context is not displayed. This makes it impossible to distinguish between two identical terms from different context. Which one do I delete?

Zero in imported JSON missing
Hi there! I tried importing (from Github) a JSON file with plurals and while it works perfectly fine for one and other, zero seems to be ignored (even when deleting the term, and re-importing them).
I have used the format as described below.
...
"cutted string": {
"zero": "cutted string",
"one": "cutted string",
"other": "cutted string"
},
...Do you have any clue why?
Thank you!

Advanced search
Currently there is only one (general) input which seems to search on all fields at once, hence, when a name of a term has a similar name of a context the results includes all the terms related to the context.
Can be easily solved by adding an advanced search in order to find terms by a specific field:
- term name
- translations
- context
- reference
- plural
- commentsThanks!

.xlf xliff file extension
I am trying to import xliff files into poeditor but the import failed because the file extension (.xlf) was not recognized. As it is the default file extension for translations exported from angular 2+ applications, it would be interesting to add support for this extension
11 votesFor Angular app localization, we now also support XLIFF .xlf files (beside the .xmb and .xtb formats we already support for a good while).

To many characters gets escaped on export to .properties file
The escape character \ is added to text containing exclamation mark ! and the # sign when exporting to .properties files. I believe that is wrong.

Readonly access through the API (creating readonly tokens)
We use the API and this includes automated tests running on the build server.
The problem is that the tests must have a token and this token gives access to it all - including destroying the language projects.
Therefore, in order to be compliant, we need to be able to create tokens which only gives readonly access to the projects.
Thank you.

Slack integration: add setting to select which kinds of events generate a notification
At the moment, the Slack integration sends a notification when:
- a project is added/deleted
- a language is added/deleted/completely translated
- translations are flushed
- strings are imported
- a comment is added on a string
- an administrator/contributor is added/removed
- a contributor joins a public project
- the string limit for the account is reached
Please provide more flexibility by enabling us to switch off some of these notifications.
Our use case is that we are mainly interested by "strings are imported" events but these notifications get lost in the flood of "a comment is added on a string" notifications.16 votes -
Export automatically to Github when t9n is complete
This Github is pretty awesome! Another feature which would be very nice is to allow to set up conditional exports. What I have in mind would be that when a translator completes a language the export is triggered automatically.
Immediately might be a little too soon, but after 15 minutes of inactivity by a translator could be even better. This would allow people with a CI flow setup to have really automatic translations from translator to test or live application.
I like my setup already pretty much. By pressing one button the translation is live in test environment after a…
17 votesYou can achieve this by setting an export webhook in the GitHub integration page and then adding this export webhook as endpoint for a callback on the language completed event.
https://poeditor.com/help/how_to_use_the_github_webhook
https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-use-poeditor-callbacksThis will trigger the webhook when the language is completed and will export your strings in GitHub.

Ignore or mark when importig terms with Translatable=false flag in xml
I would like the ability to distinguish translatable terms from non-translatable one's by translatable=false flag in xml.
Arguably they shouldn't be added to the terms list at all.
The ability to mark an existing term as non-translatable would be an added bonus.25 votesWe’ve added support for the translatable=“false” flag. It’s described here how to set it: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-set-strings-as-non-translatable-in-android-localization-projects

Export all languages at once
With a project that has a lot of languages and projects, it's very tedious to export the resource files (which then have to each be renamed).
It would be nice if you could export all languages in a ZIP file from the "Project Options" dropdown on the project's main page.

add "do not translate" button/option
I think it would be useful if can mark a string to not be translated for the contributors. e.g. Proper Nouns or Corporate Names, etc.

Multiple files in single project
For most Xcode project you have at least three localized files, Localizable.strings, Storyboard and a info.plist.
Today you need one PO Editor project per file. I understand you want to keep things simple, but I don't think it's simpler for anyone to have to manage multiple PO Editor project for the same software project. I think it would be great if the name of the file is preserved when importing terms and that you can export translations for a specific file.
The next step to awesomeness would be to select a project environment for a PO Editor project, like Xcode,…

BUG: Open box character (␣) in strings from export API
There open open box character (␣) is shown in the POEditor UI as a hint to editors that there's a leading or trailing space, but we are getting these leading and/or trailing open box characters in the strings exported by the API

Put other languages to FUZZY if Default reference language is updated
We're used POEditor to proofread and edit English language. But since other languages were already in process of translation - they instantly got outdated. Currently it's only possible to apply Fuzzy flag if you import translations from bitbucket and mark other languages as fuzzy.
But it would be VERY useful if you could mark other languages as fuzzy for specific term, once the default language translation is changed.
This way the proofreader is able to use poeditor interface to make edits, and the translators instantly see if there were any changes and some keys need review.

It would be very useful for backup purposes but not only, if from the project it could be possible to download all the PO and MO files in one single zip file
