Sort strings by most used first
To concentrate on the strings most used in the program, I would like to be able to sort strings by usage. Usage here means where the string is used in the source code. So please add a sort option by number of reference in code.

Allow configuration of QA checks (per language)
The QA checks for number of periods matching the source text are invalid in Punjabi because it doesn't use full stops.
I would like to configure which QA checks are valid for my project, and ideally per-language - with some sensible defaults per-language.

Create branch from master if not exist in export feature
Hi !
I'm using auto import from gitlab to POEditor from multiple files with tags to identify them.
When I'm exporting back to gitlab I've got plenty of commit messages on master and I can't check in a proper MR if all is set correctly.
It will be very nice if the export feature create a branch on the fly from master.Thank you !

howto
Is there a howto to translate a .pot file?
1 voteYou can set up a translation project for .pot files just like you do for .po files: https://poeditor.com/help/how_to_translate_gettext_files
The translation options are listed here: https://poeditor.com/kb/translation-options
Note that to export the translations, you’ll need to choose the .po format, as .pot cannot contain translations, only terms.

How to know the project completion status
is there any option in web api to get the project completion status in terms of percentage ?
1 voteCurrently, there’s no method to show this. But you can use the languages/list method – https://poeditor.com/docs/api#languages_list – to get a percentage of completion for each of your project languages. Summing up these values and dividing the result to the number of languages you have in your project will get you the percentage of completion for your project.

Select which terms to go through automatic translation (AT)
It would be user-friendly if the AT would allow only specific terms to go through it. Currently it is either all untranslated terms or nothing. Having the ability to select which terms to pass through would make it a lot easier.

Get Status of Proof Read Completed languages
Am not sure is there any option to get the proof read completed status for the specific translation using API?
So that pull the only those language string from PO editor api.
can you suggest any idea thanks1 voteIf you check the response example for the terms/list method, you’ll see that it also contains the status of the poofread flag (the value will be 0 if the translation for that term isn’t proofread and 1 if it is): https://poeditor.com/docs/api#terms_list
Of course, you can always use the projects/export method – to export only the proofread strings via API: https://poeditor.com/docs/api#projects_export

group
Xliff supports the notion of groups, which groups trans-unit in groups. Group can have id ans resname according to the Xliff specification.
<body>
<group id="1" resname="myGroup">
<trans-unit id="1" resname="MyTranUnit1">
.....
</group>It would be great that poeditor support the grouping with the management and the export of groups in the Xliff structure.

Hard length limit on strings
Impose a fixed length limit on specific strings to prevent users accidentally going over the limit and causing errors during deployment workflow.

When you accept a new contributor, you are redirected to Contributors first page, which does not facilitate accepting more contributors on the second page or other pages.

Graphql public api
currently poeditor offers REST public api.
I would love it if we could use a typesafe Graphql API too.
This would make our integrations more reliable and easier to implement.3 votes -
which credit card
When I'm on the billing page, I can't tell which credit card I used. I'd like to see the last four digits, so I know which bank account this comes from. When I click on 'change credit card' this still doesn't show. And it doesn't even show on the invoice, even though the invoice is 'paid'. Of course, this could be my error, but if it is there and I'm not looking properly, then it's not easy enough to see

Angular XLIFF Translation source
When importing (taking care of previously set a reference lang), there is no source column but an ID field instead. I've erased and added from source, from target. Nothing seems to work.
1 votePlease follow the steps in this article to set up a project using Angular XLIFF files:

Search in description
Hello,
I have a xlf translation file containing 1300 lines coming from Angular and I want to assign some translations to a technical team and some other translations to non technical people.
Inside my xlif file I have added 3 different "tags" :
<note priority="1" from="description">multiconf</note>
<note priority="1" from="description">templates</note>
and I'm adding :
<note priority="1" from="description">ui</note>This way I wanted to assign everything that is marked as ui to non technical people and the rest to the technical team.
But when I am on the translation page, I can't search/filter with these "tags".
Am…1 voteThe search functionality can be used to search for a text in the terms, translations, context, reference (attribute) and Reference Language: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-filter-strings-localization-project
The information from the tag you’re referring to is imported in the comments section, so it’s not possible to search by it.
However, there is another tag in Angular XLIFF files, < context context-type="sourcefile">…..< / context>, which is stored in the Reference attribute of each term. This tag contains info about the location in which the string is used.
You could search by this tag to assign work to your contributors.
Note that if you perform this search in the Terms page, you’ll be able to use our Tagging System to create custom filters within your POEditor project, which your translators will be able to use in the translation pages.
You can find more information about using POEditor’s Tagging System here: https://poeditor.com/kb/organizing-strings-with-the-tagging-system

Language definitions and in-line comments
1) I'm looking for a general dictionary of language terms. For example, German lists out 5 separate German language options.
2) How can I enable additional columns to populate within the project language translation page? For reference, I'd like to see all comments on the same line as the translations themselves to know which ones the dev has commented on / requires feedback.
1 vote1) You can find out here what each language name stands for: https://poeditor.com/kb/language-abbreviations
If you need another language, that’s not available in our list, you can add it as a custom language: https://poeditor.com/kb/custom-languages
2) Note that if your dev has an administrator role in the project, you’ll see the Comment button colored in orange whenever the last comment on a string was added by the dev.
Also important to note is that you can filter strings in any translation page by Last Commented.
All this is described in the last section of this article (How to see the newest comments in the UI): https://poeditor.com/kb/using-the-comment-system
If you want to fill in additional attributes for a term, you can do that in the Terms page: https://poeditor.com/kb/view-or-add-terms
Just click on a term to enter the Edit mode and the attributes will show up on the right.
You can find more information about term…
