Flag strings as irrelevant
I'd like to be able to flag all strings that show up on the backend (wp-admin) only as irrelevant. They should not be translated by our team, since it's better to have English there than a bad translation.

Read only, not exportable, Developer provided reference language
Quite often, in the development process, developers put the localizable strings within the code (resource files, I18n lib, etc).
Very often, developers make typo, gramatical, semantic errors. Even if the strings are provided ;o)Don't you think it could be valuable to upload those strings within a 'neutral' locale as the reference language ?
Then, if default language is 'en', you add an 'en' locale in order to correct things.Another feature is that the neutral locale is the source of thruth of what is really used within the app.
The 'neutral' locale should be readonly and only updated by…1 vote -
Configure how your json is formated
Hi,
it would be nice if you had some options to configure the structure of your json files.
i am using the library: https://www.npmjs.com/package/i18n
htere the json struncture is the following:singulares string is saved as
{
"term" : "translation"
}
and plurals as
{
"term": {
"one": "translation",
"few": "translation",
"many": "translation",
"other": "translation",

Prevent translation of placeholders
It would be nice if you could configure how your placeholders look like. And warn if the translation does not contain them.
I am using https://www.npmjs.com/package/i18n for example.
they allow placeholders like: "Welcome {{name}}" and "Welcome %s"
a russian translater might get the idea to write: "пожаловать {{имя}}"
which will cause the application to fail.14 votes -
View Translations by Description & Meaning
I'm building an i18n project in Angular 4 and my extracted .xliff files contain useful information for description and meaning. It would be nice to change my view to isolate strings by meaning.
I've been trying to find a good translation management suite for our client and this seems like a great fit.

APIv2 export order
I do not know what is the APIv2 export order : is it the terms alphabetical order ? or creation date /time ? or ... not sorted ?
I am using the po file format for export
Sorting is useful to make sense of the file diffs at commit time

Disable / Enable Notifications For Project
Provide the ability for an Admin to enable / disable all notifications for changes to comments or terms on a project.
This will allow us to reduce "spam" emails to all our translators when we are adding or updating several terms, or adding links to screenshots in the comment field.
After completing all their actions the Admin could then re-enable notifications and send out ONE notification regarding the changes.3 votes -
[BUG] Cannot Call API from Bitrise
Currently I have an automatic build with steps to pull language from POEditor then build Android APK in Bitirse CI. The build has successfully run well previously until on 30 May it starts to failing. The script is simple curl to export languages, but it keeps getting Timeout. I try to run the script locally and it successfully export the languages. I have contact the bitrise team and they say they are not changing anything from their side.
Also, the Bitrise use virtual machine which hosted in Google Compute Engine.1 vote -
Export in one api call
It would be much easier to script the translation export if the export api directly responded with the translation requested rather than a url. I'd love to be able to make a single api call with curl to specify the file and language, and not have to mess with parsing the response.

We use the reference quite a lot. At the moment it is only visible in the tooltip - however it would save us quite a lot time if it was visible all the time...

Plurals while exporting to key-value json
While exporting to key-value json format, plurals are getting ignored.
Shouldn't it be array of string values in case of pluralsmsgid: ["value"] or "value" incase of singular
msgid: ["value1", "value2", "value3"] incase of plural (one, few and others)8 votes -
Re-order "add term" button
Hi, instead of having the button at the bottom part of the terms, it will be great to have it in the top part, that way you don't have to scroll every time you want to add a term. Thank you!
