Messages exported to incorrect file
For https://github.com/commons-app/apps-android-commons , there are two message files per language.
https://github.com/commons-app/apps-android-commons/tree/master/app/src/main/res/values
error.xml
strings.xmlWhen I export the translations, all messages are being exported to the error.xml file, and all messages are being exported to the strings.xml.

Export per contributor
Currently I can export a single file to Github , and it includes all translations by all contributors.
I would like to retain attribution, so it would be helpful to export in batches per person, and I can then edit the commits to add authorship (name & email address) manually. This is mandatory for open source projects.0 votes -
Support github organisation teams
We already build teams and roles in Github, so it is problematic to then rebuild this information in POEditor and keep it up to date.
It would be nice to have team support in POEditor
(https://poeditor.uservoice.com/forums/171919-general/suggestions/3663140-group-contributors-into-teams), but I would also be happy to allow all users in a github team to automatically be given access to all translation languages, or let them choose their own languages.2 votes -
Editing project details not obvious
The project settings on the right are set and save immediately, whereas to edit things on the left, you need to press Edit Project Details first.
I clicked several times on "Default Reference Language" trying to change it before I figured out you had to click the Edit button below. Note also that button can be below the fold depending on your screen size.

exporting comments?
why do you guys include the comments as part of the xml export? I understand the comments feature on the website for workflow purposes but once I'm ready to export the translated files the comments are unnecessary. Do others still find value in the comments being in the exported file? Could you make it an option to include comments in the export?

Identify automatic translation on public Join page
It would be really nice to have a label identifying languages that include automatic translations on the public Join page.
I prefer to have an automatic translation than no translation, so on my projects I start by generating an auto translation then request help from users to suggest improvements. If they visit the join page and see '100%' they are inclined not to take it any further.

Double click selection of term includes extra space at end
While double clicking on a term to select it, there is always an extra blank space that gets selected, it is a minor inconvenience because I then have to delete it and if I'm pasting it into another POEditor project the space messes up the term.
Example of my use-case in the link provided.

Type of payment on INVOICE
I think it could be better to insert inside the invoice the following data:
-the type of payment;
-the credit card or bank account number;
-a statement like "Invoice has been paid on <date_of_payment>".It would be very useful for accounting offices.
Kind Regards,

Support of custom bitbucket server
Some companies and I have their own bitbucket servers. So a bitbucket connection to a custom address is needed.

Restrict possibility of contributor to delete all translations
Title says it all. It's way too easy to delete all translations accidentally (or on purpose) as contributor. This could be avoided by eg. adding a setting to restrict it to administrators only.

Tag from excel
Adding a sixth column to import from an excel with a tag would be very useful.
Obviously, a tag inside associated to a string inside the excel file wins against a tag choosen through the import tool.10 votes -
Inserting a new string between strings already present
It would be useful inserting a string between two other strings (like in MS Excel), because this way it is easier to mantain strings sorted in case I forgot some of them.

Bug with automating iOS strings sync'ing
Hi,
I'm currently working on a script that will synchronize the terms and translations in Poeditor with an iOS project. I have it set up to import the iOS project's .strings file to Poeditor using the REST API, and then export from Poeditor back to the iOS project.
The idea being I can run this once per day to automatically sync the new translations and newly added unlocalized strings with Poeditor without human intervention.
However, there's a problem. Terms added through Poeditor with a "context" field are exported to the iOS strings file with that context as a comment above…

[IDEA] Block a user if they corrupt the translation
However, if that user deserve a "block", he must be in a vote, which can decide that he'll be ban or not.
(The minimum required must be about 75% contributors of that project and any user can add another user to the vote. But, if anyone want to vote or add someone to the vote-list, they must have at least: a proof, a reason to ban and a suggestion for the user in the ban-list. If that user don't change his/her behavior for about 2 - 3 weeks, he can't contribute for that project more.)
p/s: I want to suggest…

Directly export to Github from a language or a project page
It would be nice if I could automatically export from a language page, or if I could export all to Github from the project page.

The gradients you use are super sick
I just wanted to say that the green/blue gradients look awesome. It has a nice minimal elegant feel, nice stuff!

Is Poeditor CORS enabled? If not, how can one make a cross-domain request to Poeditor?

Add escaped unicode character highlighting
Please add highlighting in the web text editor for escaped unicode characters, e.g. \u00A0, so that translators can know the start and end of these sub strings, so they can avoid editing them in translation
