  1. All the email notifications for comments on POEditor have the same subject as "New comment received on POEditor.com" which mess up my inbox especially when having a lot of comments in the short period.

I hope the notifications have unique subject including term or key for example.

  2. Every time I use POEditor I find myself going through the list of icons on the right side, it's very annoying... please put text alongside the icons to make the menu more scannable.
    See https://www.nngroup.com/articles/icon-usability/ and http://uxmyths.com/post/715009009/myth-icons-enhance-usability and https://ux.stackexchange.com/questions/1795/when-to-use-icons-vs-icons-with-text-vs-just-text-links

    Thanks!

  3. The quotes " in the text are exported to the RESX as ". The VisualStudio 2017 reads the resx file fine, but it replaces all " to ". It would be better to export the text as the VisualStudio does.
    Consider the following scenario:
    - Export resx from poeditor to Git repository.
    - Do a small change in the resx by VisualStudio and save the file.
    - resx has many changes compared to the version in Git caused by " converted to ".

  4. Instead of uploading 1 file with keys and values for each language, allow uploading a file with the first column = key names, second translations in one language, third = translations in second language, etc.
The language will differ by the first cell of the column.

  5. this feature is necessary for some languages like German, French, Russian. It is not possible to add this, is it? MediaWiki has this feature too. It would be a loss of communication to have not this feature, right? I beg you please integrate this feature

  6. For me it would work better if the reference language would not be displayed in the first column on top - but in the second - because it's a translation and not a label and/or label-category.

  7. I have sent 4 posts to translate via wpml to poeditor.
When it's done It creates 4 posts with the same title and body.
If I do one by one it works nice.

  10. the translation tool does not display the context information embedded into the source xliff file in <context-group> and <note> tags.
Such support would greatly help in providing a better translation experience.

  12. When exporting to .resw or .resx format, the document should use UTF-8 BOM encoding and CR-LF line ends, just like in .resw files generated by Visual Studio.
Right now I need to manually fix these issues anytime I export translations.

  13. Is it intentional to have 'context' as first-level keys in JSON export file?
    What's the reason for that?

It looks a bit strange to me. I thought that 'context' is a form of a description of the term to make it easier to understand the phrases when translating.
Why would I need context in the exported file apart from as comments?

Here is an example of what I get:

    "Sent by the server when the invitation is accepted": {
        "notification.message_to_inviter_title": "...",
        "notification.message_to_inviter_text": "..."
    }

  14. On the page "View or Add Terms" you can see all translations of a term, but you have to click "C" button for that. It would be really useful to have a view of all translations of all terms without clicking "C" button for each.
For example, there could be a toggle somewhere "Expand all".

  15. We'd like to be able to maintain our Translation Memories by being able to edit and delete entries.

EDIT EXAMPLE. The following Russian translation for the English phrase "Hide Column" mistakenly includes the English phrase itself ...

    Скрыть колонку Hide Column

... We'd like to be able to edit the TM here to remove the English words from the end of the Russian translation.

DELETE EXAMPLE. In our Japanese TM, we've mistakenly added the English term "Roll Angle" for Roll Angle! Consequently, we get these suggestions for "Roll Angle", the last one being the rogue English entry that we want…

  16. Some of the areas are challenging for the color blind - for example the proofread signs, and the comments balloons.
    Make the colors more contrasted

  18. In Poeditor we not only have strings that are used in our app, but also some update texts etc, that we do not use in the app interface, and so do not need to be exported to gitlab. Is there a way to filter those terms out so they are not pushed to gitlab?

  19. When you select Contributers, you see:
    x total contributors|x assigned Administrators|x inactive ....

Would be great, if the above was hyperlinks, so we easy could get to the offenders ;)

  20. It would be useful to have a public link of the project directing to a specific language.
Currently having troubles to aquire translators when just linking them to the "generic" public page. I assume they would more likely join if their language would already be "preselected"/filtered.
