Order multiple languages at once
Currently when placing an order for manual translation via one of your partners you need to manually add all projects and languages to be translated as separate orders. I would like to have a "add all these projects and languages and translate from english" to be translated as it is currently a cumbersome process.
1 voteAlthough it’s not possible to order translations for multiple projects at the same time, it is possible to order translations for multiple languages from a single project.
You can find more info on how to do this in the 2nd section of this article: https://poeditor.com/kb/how-to-get-human-translation-services

Comment replies for contributors
If I log in as a contributor I have no way to see whether comments were added by other contributors or admins to a discussion about a translation.
I had to deactivate email notifications, because I received far too many. Why not have a notification indicator in the top bar, which indicates all replies in discussions.
1 voteThank you for the suggestion, we’ll consider it.
Note that if you’re getting too many email notifications on comments, you can always switch to receiving a daily digetst in your Account Settings, instead of receiving a notification on every comment: https://poeditor.com/kb/account-settings

my first suggestion and opinion
my first suggestion would be to introduce the possibility of deleting your account and disabling push notifications and e-mail notifications my next suggestion would be to introduce the possibility of text translation using speech, so for example if somebody doesn't have hands or other limbs which he can use for example to walk and other limbs which he doesn't have because for example he was born that way or something like that then for example how can he speak or how can he do something else if he doesn't have something which I don't know that for example such technologies…

Error while trying to add new contributor to project.
I'm trying to add a new admin to the project and it fails. The message I receive is so generic that I'm not being able to say what's wrong.

Always display comment link on Gmail
When a translator comment on a term, we receive an email containing the comment itself as well a the link to the comment.
On Gmail, when many comments are received for the same user, they are stacked up as conversation (same email subject).
But because the footer of each one is the same visually, the "Link" button is only visible on the first email, not the other one. We need to click on "..." to expend the footer and click on the link. There is probably something to be done here, maybe moving the link on top of the comment?

Number of untranslated source words and more...
Hello, good afternoon
It would be good to be able to know the number of untranslated source words for a language or multiple languages in a specific project.
On another hand - the column "RW" is the value that shows the number of words the main editor adds in a specific time frame. Also, the column "words" shows the number of translated words in the TARGET languages (please correct me if I'm wrong). Neither of these two columns don't show the number of translated SOURCE words in a specific language in a specific time frame, thing that makes very difficult…
1 vote‘RW (Reference Words)’ represents the total amount of words from the Reference Language (source language) translated by a user in the selected time frame. This is the value you seem to be looking for.
‘Words’ represents the total amount of words added in the target language by a user in the selected time frame.
To see how many words are left to be translated in a language, the project owner or one of the project admins can follow the instructions here: https://poeditor.com/kb/translation-word-count

BUG: Translation values are are show up in the Suggestions
I have used translations/add api for post English translation values, but values not showing in the text area, show up in the suggestion area, once i click on the use, it moves to the text area. it seems wired.
1 voteThat’s not a bug, it’s a feature. :)
What you are seeing are translations that were one in the project but were deleleted since then, which are stored in the Translation Memory.
More information regarding the Translation Memory is available here: https://poeditor.com/help/how_to_use_translation_memory

Custom icon for a custom languages.
Custom languages only shows a generic green icon, it's difficult to edit text when you have multiple of them.

Sort strings by most used first
To concentrate on the strings most used in the program, I would like to be able to sort strings by usage. Usage here means where the string is used in the source code. So please add a sort option by number of reference in code.

View translation from other languages
When I enter a translation, I like to check what the others contributors have enter for the other languages. I would like to see the other translations for the string in other languages (in a rollover or popup window displaying)
1 voteYou can check what translations are avaible in the other project languages by using the Set Reference Language option in any translation page, in the top right corner of the page.

Sort string by QA Checks
To check if every strings are correctly translated, including meta chars (like $, % ! etc), it would be great to be able to sort strings by QA Checks, and translate or review in priority strings with QA alerts
1 voteTo see all the translations in a language with detected errors in a single page (filtered from the ones without errors), you can click on the Run QA Checks button available in any translation page, in the top right corner of the page.
You can see the button illustrated in the second screenshot of this article: https://poeditor.com/kb/qa-checks

Is there a howto to translate a .pot file?
1 voteYou can set up a translation project for .pot files just like you do for .po files: https://poeditor.com/help/how_to_translate_gettext_files
The translation options are listed here: https://poeditor.com/kb/translation-options
Note that to export the translations, you’ll need to choose the .po format, as .pot cannot contain translations, only terms.

How to know the project completion status
is there any option in web api to get the project completion status in terms of percentage ?
1 voteCurrently, there’s no method to show this. But you can use the languages/list method – https://poeditor.com/docs/api#languages_list – to get a percentage of completion for each of your project languages. Summing up these values and dividing the result to the number of languages you have in your project will get you the percentage of completion for your project.

Select which terms to go through automatic translation (AT)
It would be user-friendly if the AT would allow only specific terms to go through it. Currently it is either all untranslated terms or nothing. Having the ability to select which terms to pass through would make it a lot easier.

Add number of translations to /contributors/list API endpoint
I'd love to be able to get the number of translations a contributor has provided for a project. That way I can incentivize translations and automate distributing rewards based on how many strings they've provided.
I'm thinking of running a script to periodically check if any contributors have passed various milestones and awarding promo codes via email. Currently I have to do this manually.

Get Status of Proof Read Completed languages
Am not sure is there any option to get the proof read completed status for the specific translation using API?
So that pull the only those language string from PO editor api.
can you suggest any idea thanks1 voteIf you check the response example for the terms/list method, you’ll see that it also contains the status of the poofread flag (the value will be 0 if the translation for that term isn’t proofread and 1 if it is): https://poeditor.com/docs/api#terms_list
Of course, you can always use the projects/export method – to export only the proofread strings via API: https://poeditor.com/docs/api#projects_export
- Don't see your idea?
