basic formatting mapping
It would be awesome if there was a mapping for formatting symbols.(e.g C#'s string.format("{0}, {1}",foo,bar) being properly mapped to Java's String.format("%1$s, %2$s",foo,bar).
Certainly, it is nearly impossible to map formatting correctly across all platforms (regarding indents, padding, truncation) but at least having a basic mapping for simple string replacements would be really helpful.

View all other translations while translating a new language
Instead of having one reference language, just show all other translations as a guideline for translating a new language

See the last modifications made by the project's owner.
Hi,
I'am a contributor on a project and I would like to know how to see the last modifications made by the project's owner. Not the recently added and untranslated texts, but texts that I have already translated and that the owner has modified without telling me. If it's impossible can you add that feature? Thanks.3 votes -
Show Translation in Reference Language on View Terms page
In our application the terms are keys generated by the application which generally useless for translating purposes. (e.g. S-5-0-2000)
It would be usefull to be able to see the main translation directly without having to click on the Translations button on each term.

Multiple selection
It will be a great idea if I can select more than a file when I am going to import my files with the strings.
I've multiple strings_xxx.xml files and now I have to link them one by one when I want to link them from github to POeditor.
Thanks
Great tool!

Contributor Edits Not Saving
Our contributors are complaining that their edits are not being saved. We've had multiple instances where edits were not updated, and other instances where saved translations were completely removed.

Type of payment on INVOICE
I think it could be better to insert inside the invoice the following data:
-the type of payment;
-the credit card or bank account number;
-a statement like "Invoice has been paid on <date_of_payment>".It would be very useful for accounting offices.
Kind Regards,

Make sure that the translation box is visible on all type of monitors: add contrast
Hi POEditor,
When selecting all Untranslated strings, the text boxes where you have to fill in your translation are not always visible on all displays.
Some displays in our office (and outside our office as well) are not of fantastic quality; you can easily overlook the text boxes in that case...
Maybe you can add some more contrast between the box and the background?

Search in comments
We use comments quite extensively.
For example: we write down in the comments on which URL you can find the string that needs translation.It would be extremely helpful if the search box in the upper right corner not only searches within the string & the translation, but also in the comment.
(If you agree with me, please VOTE on this feature request so that we can make this happen!)

Custom percentage or number of characters for translation length warning (global or per term)
200% of the length of the original string is an arbitrary number to warn of longer translations.
This idea incorporates two feature requests:
1. A global setting per project to modify the warning length for translations. e.g. set the warning to be '130%' of the original term length.
2. Allow a per term override of the 200% warning with a 6th field in CSV files called 'charlimit'. This would override the 200% limit with a custom value.e.g. term, translation, content, reference, comment, charlimit
Term = 'Choose the correct answer.'
Translation = ''
Context = 'This is an instruction for…3 votes -
Display terms in tree view by context
Allowing to change the terms display to tree view is crucial when working in JSON (key, value) format with depth levels.
When adding new term, context tags are nice but navigating to your wanted node in a tree view, will be much more effective and will reflect the actual output json file.Beyond that manually writing context for each term can lead to unwanted mistakes.
Thanks

Disable / Enable Notifications For Project
Provide the ability for an Admin to enable / disable all notifications for changes to comments or terms on a project.
This will allow us to reduce "spam" emails to all our translators when we are adding or updating several terms, or adding links to screenshots in the comment field.
After completing all their actions the Admin could then re-enable notifications and send out ONE notification regarding the changes.3 votes -
Toggle all plurals / contexts / translations / references in terms view
It would be very useful to have a button to show informations on all the terms at the same time. Otherwise you have to manually toggle them one by one.

some general option to forbid translators to see Not Fuzzy Translations
we want to add terms, then want to do soem stuff about it internally. and only when marked fuzzy we want transaltors to review it.
Currently traslators can see all texts. Woul dbe great if there is an option to allow them to see only fuzzy.3 votes -
Support for semantic placeholders such as {{contact_name}}
Poeditor is already able to warn a translator that a common placeholder such as %@, %s,... is missing in the translation. It would be awesome if such warnings could happen for semantic placeholders such as {{contact_name}}. That is as soon as {{...}} exist, then it should exist in the translation.

Add a "download source file" button
As a translator, I can only download a .po with string ID+target text. I need to be able to download the source text too, so I can work offline.
