Add Terms returns Error
I used the example curl on the Add Terms endpoint and it responded with :
{"response":{"status":"fail","code":"4042","message":"Data should be JSON"}}
I updated it to use JSON and then it responded with:
{'response': {'status': 'fail', 'code': '4012', 'message': 'No data sent using POST method'}}
Is this endpoint failing?1 vote -
Report percentage a language is translated
The report per language shows contributions over time. Instead I would like to see how much of a language is translated, so that I can track and see that we have ensured a close to complete translation for a particular language over time.

Process Bars
It would be a great idea to have multiple Process bars...
I was thinking of the following colors:
Yellow = Translated Text
Red = Fuzzy Translations
Green = Proofreaded TranslationsIt would be amazing if it could overlap or something..

Support for semantic placeholders such as {{contact_name}}
Poeditor is already able to warn a translator that a common placeholder such as %@, %s,... is missing in the translation. It would be awesome if such warnings could happen for semantic placeholders such as {{contact_name}}. That is as soon as {{...}} exist, then it should exist in the translation.

default reference language lockdown / block
My team wrote the website in English initially, which is our default reference language.
Very simple:
We don't want people to be able to change English. We want control over the English to make sure it's correct.The existing options aren't feasible:
A) Control contributors (and deny anyone requesting access to English)
B) Remove languages that are "completed"A simpler option I'm asking for would be:
Create an option so project admins can check a box:
Allow default reference language to be modified by non-admins?

Show the number of characters
It would be nice if the number of the characters until reaching the length of the original text were shown. For example, let's say the original text was 150 chars. I start typing the translation, and, after some time I've typed 124 chars, so it would show that I can still type 26 chars.

Add option to search through all languages
We would like to be able to search all languages of a project for a certain string (bonus points for allowing case sensitive search) in order to replace all occurrences of this string. Now we have to look at each language separately which is a bit of a drag.
It would be even better if this could be extended to search all languages of all projects connected to my account.

Show all terms without tags
Please add the possibilty to show all terms without tags/exclude all terms with tags from the search. Otherwise I have to skim through thousands of terms just to find those which have no tag yet.

Exluding tags in the search
It would be great to be able to exclude tags from the search. Maybe a switch in the tagging filter Include/Exclude.

Tags: select and or
Right now, if selecting multiple tags the search is looking for terms with both tags. This makes cross tagging basically useless. It would be great to have an/or search functions.

Overview of imported new translations vs obsolete ones
When importing a po file I'm notified how many new terms have been added and am given a list of obsolete terms. It would be great to have a dual window to see, how many terms are actually new and how many terms have just been corrected. It's a hassle to compare them manually and then copy paste translations form an old term to a new one, which is basically the the same with maybe a minor spelling error fixed.

automatically notify contributors
We are using the API and VSTS integration to build a continuous CD pipeline includign translation, all pieces in place except notifying the contributors that there are new and/or changed translations.
Our suggestion is to either build an API endpoint to pass in a message and a list of contributors to be notified or better even an option in the project settings to automatically notify contributors (using some standard message)....
The reson for this automated messaging is to minimize the time between change and the translation being available.
Thanks!

Import/export GitHub integrations
I need to update the paths of my GitHub strings.xml. This is very laborsome to do manually. Could we just import and export and change them with a text editor?

So sad that the title for feedback only says "Feature ideas or any bugs"
Hi,
It feels a bit sad that this button is only for feature ideas and bugs, and not also for hoorays. Just discovered POEditor and damn, it's so easy to get up and running with. Especially with the GitHub integration.
Great work!

add error highlight/validation for HTML tags
our translators often break html tags with extra spaces - e.g. </ strong>
sometimes they even translate tags/attribute values
would be nice to have validation/error highlight for this cases6 votes -
